iPhone 5 Coming in October

A Wall Street Journal blog today posted an unconfirmed prediction that Apple will announce the iPhone 5 on October 4.  This even will be the first one headed by Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, featuring him in his new role with the company.  Without a doubt, all eyes will be on this even via live streaming coverage on the Internet as iPhone fans and shunners alike hold their breath, waiting to find out which of the countless rumors about the new smartphone turn out to be true. Probably the most highly anticipated iPhone yet, the iPhone 5 has been dubiously reported to have a radical new design with an even slimmer profile, shaped more like the iPad 2, and with a larger touch screen.  Others say it will be powered by an A5 processor, sport an 8 megapixel camera, and will function as an espresso maker.  With numerous rumors surrounding the new handset, how can we keep track of them all?
